The global filter

The global filter is CloudOptify’s signature control. It sits in the top bar on every page and defines what slice of your estate you’re looking at — every dashboard, table, report, and chart follows it automatically.

Click the filter pill in the top bar and choose any combination of:

  • Groupings — your Cloud Groups (e.g. “Machine Learning & AI”).
  • Accounts — individual AWS accounts.
  • Subscriptions — individual Azure subscriptions.

Leave everything unselected to see the whole estate (“All Accounts”).

Next to the scope filter, the date range picker controls the analysis window. Presets cover the common cases (last 7/30/90 days and more), or pick custom dates. Like the scope filter, the range applies platform-wide — change it once and every view reloads.

Because scope and time are set in one place:

  • Finance and engineering are always looking at the same numbers.
  • There’s no per-page filter to forget — switching from Cost Analysis to Findings keeps your context.
  • Reports and exports reflect exactly what you see.
