Cloud connections

Cloud Connections is the home for everything CloudOptify is connected to.

Each tenant/connection has a Test action that verifies authentication end to end. Verified connections show green; a failing connection names the problem so you can fix credentials or re-consent. Scans also run a pre-flight verification automatically before starting.

Within each connection you choose which subscriptions (Azure) or accounts (AWS) are analyzed. Selected items count against plan capacity; the page shows usage against your limit.

Deselecting an account that’s referenced by a group, report, or alert triggers an impact warning listing exactly what will change — see Connection lifecycle.

The toggle “Automatically add new accounts & subscriptions” (admin/owner) controls discovery behavior: when a sync finds new accounts in your cloud, they’re either selected automatically (default) or added unselected for review.

Removing a tenant/connection stops analysis for everything under it and cleans up its references in groups, reports, and alerts the same way deselection does. Your cloud itself is never touched — CloudOptify holds read-only access throughout.
