Forecasting

CloudOptify projects where the month will land using trend-aware forecasting that learns from your own spending patterns — including weekly rhythm — rather than a flat daily average.

The Monthly Forecast panel

On the dashboard (and in group reports) the forecast shows:

Billed this period — what’s accumulated so far.
Projected month end — the trend-aware projection, with a low–high confidence range so you know how firm the number is.
Run rates — 30/60/90-day spend at the current pace.
7-day trend — whether the recent week is accelerating or cooling.
Cloud split — how the period divides between Azure and AWS.

Scope-aware

Forecasts follow the global filter: scope to a Cloud Group or an account and the projection recalculates for exactly that slice. Each group’s report carries its own forecast.

Forecasts drive alerts

Budget alerts can fire on the forecast, not just actual spend — you get warned mid-month that a budget is projected to be exceeded, while there’s still time to act.
